The service I experienced at Wilmette Eye Care in having my eyes checked was superb. Dr. Warciak was articulate, professional and helpful, as was every member of the staff. My only disappointment was the $10 copay, but that is mostly because my wife had said that there was no copay. The service was so good, however, that I do not resent the copay.

Our family has had great experiences at Wilmette Eye Care. Dr. Kohn is kind and thorough. Shiny Fields has been exceptional at helping all of us find the frames that suit our faces, prescriptions and personalities. My prescription is *very* challenging to get the lenses right (because of astigmatism and extreme nearsightedness), and our previous provider just could not seem to make a pair of glasses that worked. Dr. Kohn took extra care and Wilmette Eye Care has now made two pairs of glasses for me that got everything just right.

I don't often write reviews, but I could not help myself here. This was my first-time visit with Dr. Lidia Warciak and to the Wilmette Eye Care offices. Dr. Warciak is truly exceptional. She was thorough, precise, and detailed with a professional, friendly manner. She does have a special ability to explain to the non-expert (and an older patient) complicated eye issues and evaluation processes. She's now my eye doctor! The entire team working with Dr. Warciak is superb, both attentive and expert, and they do have beautiful new offices in Wilmette. The on-line system for appointments and communications is flawless, telephone inquiries and questions are answered promptly, and the team support for each other is apparent and reassuring. My new patient intake and initial staff assessments were immediate and seamless in supporting Dr. Warciak. The entire optometry practice at WEC is outstanding in every respect. This is an A++ recommendation.

Dr Kohn and his team are terrific. Dr Kohn is patient-friendly, technically savvy, uses the latest equipment and makes the whole process really smooth. I have not fancied my annual eye check-ups because I have found the process of looking into the glaucoma testing equipment with wide eyes and without blinking etc. rather discomforting but this visit to Dr Cohn was refreshingly different. Good range of frames available as well.

Having gone to my fair share of eye doctors,  I was happy to see that Wilmette Eye Care wasn't another chain store, but a welcoming office that had a homey atmosphere where it seemed like customer service was a top priority.  Upon entering, I was greeted by both Dr. Kohn and a receptionist, and handed an iPad to fill out my information.  Afterwards we went into the back for my appointment, and I must say, I was very impressed with all the technology that they had.  While I was undergoing my exam, Dr. Kohn was very thorough in his examination and explained things very clearly.
After my exam, I was looking at the wall of eyeglasses they had, and for once, I did not feel pressured like other shops i've been to to buy high-end premium frames (or anything at all).  Dr. Kohn was very accommodating and helped me find the right pair of frames for my larger head, and made the whole process painless. I normally don't write reviews, but the exceptional customer service sold me on this place, and I HIGHLY recommend this place.
