Wilmette Eye Care has rigorously implemented the following protocols (and more) to ensure patient and staff safety
during the COVID-19 pandemic:

1. The number of patient visits per day will be limited to decrease exposure.

2. All patients will be screened for any fever, respiratory or flu-like symptoms.

3. We are limiting non-patient visitors. Only those individuals being seen by the doctor and essential help (e.g. children with guardian or those that require additional assistance) will be allowed in the exam room.

4. Patients will be required to wear a face covering at all times during their visit.

5. Patients will be encouraged to disinfect hands at the beginning of their visit.

6. Staff will disinfect the public entrances frequently throughout the day.

7. Frames will be thoroughly disinfected before and after patient handling or wear.

8. Seating will be limited to maintain social distancing.

9.  Individuals will separate 6 feet from all others when possible.

10. Any personnel who develops fever, respiratory or flu-like symptoms will not report to work.

11. Staff will be required to wear a face covering at all times during patient care.
